      I prefer catching white crappies because they have a bigger average size when I target them. Btw, none of the fish in the image are white crappies.

      In my state the record for Each is equal at almost 5# I tend to prefer which ever is biting best they are awesome fish fun to catch and great to eat

      In my state the black Crappie and white crappie records are equal at almost 5 pounds each . I prefer whichever is butting best I just think they are awesome fish ...more fun to catch and great to eat.

      There's not much of a difference except one lives in warmer water and grows bigger, I guess black crappie

      black get bigger, fight harder, live shallower, and are more common, black crappie are way better in my opinion but the differences between the two arent that drastic
