Was a very hard bite today in sectionals. The winning bag was around 4.8 pounds. This one was 1.32 pounds. The other boat on our team got about 3.4 pounds and finished ...more 3rd and are moving on to state. Day started cloudy and rainy but ended up being about 80 degrees and sunny to finish the day.

We were fishing a sand flat in about 4 feet of water with weed edges on both sides. You would cast your life as far down the weeds as you could then slowly work ...more it back. My brother and I caught one almost every cast. Weather was about 75 degrees and sunny with a N/NE wind at about 3 mph. Fishing was great yesterday I caught 20 and my brother caught 15.

Can any one name this fish? My friend caught it last night wile we were cat fishing and he thinks it's a big mouth buffalo but I think it's a fresh water ...more drum. The water was up about 9 feet and it was very muddy. Temp. was around 75 degrees. Over all good night with 10 cats and this unknown fish. Any help on what it is would be welcome.

I was bass fishing at this new pond we can fish and I caught a couple nice bass. The next cast I caught the big snapping turtle. I hooked him in the leg instead ...more of in the mouth which was better. I got my lure back and it only bent one hook out of my 2 treble hooks. The weather was low 80's and with a 10-15 mph wind. Caught all of the fish right on the edges of weed beds.

Details: Largemouth Bass
I had a bunch of action today after track on top water. I missed 3 others that were about the same size as this one on the buzzbait. Had one that was pushing 4 pounds ...more break me off on my fly rod. All together it was an awesome day minus the light rain. Weather was about 63 degrees with a south southeast wind at 5 miles and hour. Wish I would have landed on of the others they all looked to be 4+.

Weather started at ...more 77 degrees but as the rain moved through it dropped very quickly. Had a south wind the was blowing the storm up. After that fish I broke out the fly rod and caught a bunch of little bass on a white and green woolly bugger. Good day
