Went fishing 🎣 on the Manasquan Inlet north jetty this evening on a warm, sunny day with a light south wind and incoming high tide. Looked like a fleet of boats were catching jumbo striped bass with big, livelined bunkers. I caught and released 5 windowpane flounder, a fluke and a bluefish with a plain hook Ava A-17. Tagged and released 4 sundials, the fluke and the bluefish. Caught 162 fish 🎣 in 45 trips to Manasquan this year. Tagged 109 fish. Caught fish 🐟 on my last 11 consecutive trips to the inlet.
