Big thanks to @Reel_Smooth for puttin me on some fish Saturday. Started out free lining dead shrimp & caught a lot of ladyfish, a couple small black drum & pin fish. Changed to Gulp when the tide rolled in & landed 2 small flounder & these keepers. Casting in the current & lettin it drift the flounder would hit it on the fall & run with it. Pearl white & pink were the colors that got the most hits

Thanks! @GoatGirl if you ever make your way to the Gulf/East Coast, you should definitely try flounder. I've heard they taste very similar to halibut.

@Reel_Smooth I'm gonna try to make it. My dad's bday is on the 16th so I'm not sure if we're celebrating with the fam on Saturday or not. I'm ...more down to hit up that spot this weekend if you stay in town

@Reel_Smooth For sure, I've gotta start burning vacation days because I have about 18 left for the year. Give me at least a few days notice and we'll make ...more it happen

@GoatGirl these three hit the lure on the fall and ran with it so I set the hook pretty quickly. Flounder will definitely teach you patience though haha

@GoatGirl they sure are & taste amazing too! Most of the time you gotta be patient with them because they like to mouth the bait/lure for a bit. I usually count ...more 10 seconds before setting the hook....

They are @GoatGirl when you hit the 20+ range they feel completely different. They know how to use their body at that point and start to take good drag also.
