Walleyes and saugers have really picked up since this cooler weather dropped in. Jig and minnow and jig and crawler combinations have been the most productive. ...more Targeting them is a little harder. The water level has been fluctuating quite a bit this last couple of weeks which in turn makes those walleyes reposition themselves. Have to be a little mobile to find them, but once you’re on them, that’s when the fun begins. Crappies also have picked up. We are finding them suspended in 10-12 feet of water along the rock ledges. Crappie minnows are the hot ticket right now. We have also had some reports of pike and musky being caught, but reports are few and far between.
