Saturday was a tough day considering the cold and wind... Boated 10+ smallies, 1 Sauger and couldn't really get into the walleye. I submitted one walleye to ...more the contest, just to say I did, 16in @ 1.46 lbs. An average eye at best... Overall, I caught about 6 or 7 more eyes with a bunch more spitting out my hook at the boat.

Fished 10/8/13 below the dam, near the rock pile off of a current break. Started off slow but as soon as I found one, I found them all. Unfortunately, only striped ...more bass. Caught over 30 from 3pm - 5:30pm. 1/16 oz jig and minnow with a slow presentation was the trick. No beasts, just numbers.
Waiting for the walleye run to begin and will report again after the weekend as long as I get out as planned.-

Fished the lower dells this past Sunday (9/22/13). Targeted walleyes near hawks beak and trolled that entire shoreline up to the dam. Stopped counting after 2 hours. ...more Biggest slot was 24inches. Smallies also hitting cranks and are very aggressive.
