    I fished the River today landing 20 Trout! I caught them on a 1/4 oz Sculpin patterned Marabou Jig as well as a 3/16 oz black/purple Marabou Jig.

    Slow day and I only caught 7 scorable bass! I picked up an Itsy Bitsy Jig with a Baby Rodent Trailer and stuck my best fish of the day a
    17 1/2” 4 lb 2 oz pig ...more to save my day!

    I got on the water yesterday in 90 degree plus temps and it was really slow. This is a drinking water reservoir that you can only shore fish on. It recently dropped ...more a foot pushing the fish out. I had to make long casts or fish transitions. I caught both of my best fish on each. The biggest one was caught at 1 pm in the heat on a 1/2 oz ZMan Bad Shad Gold chatterbait with “The Deal” as a trailer! The other best fish was on a 1/2 oz Covert Series Spinnerbait! I only ended up landing 7 but I did lose three really good fish!!!

    Here’s the 18 1/4” 4 lb 7 oz pig!!!
