  3. Details: Guadalupe Bass with a Shad on the bottom with a liter and weight

Caught this nice bass, my dad also cuaght one about this size. Is it a guad or lmb becuase they were both darker than regular lmb? I caught a lot of shad at the ...more tube Shute then went to landa park! Great night. Any and all help would be appreciated! Tight lines!

    1. Sean Wilms 0
no problem, and that very clear water will almost always make them darker
    2. Ok because the depth is about 5-7 feet and the water was VERY clear. Thanks for the help @seaturtles
    3. Sean Wilms 0
its a LMB they can get darker or lighter depending on the clarity of the water and the depth that they hang out at

I did have one big assuming catfish lost after a strong take on a dead shad. Fun overall weekend. Sorry for not posting much.tightlines

    1. I live on 78 and walk down a little ways but I've had trouble catching shad lately. Hmu if you go there I'll try and meet you there. @Cowboy713

    1. johncarlo_jimenez 0
Ya there was quite a bit of moss, but it was still fun checking it out
    2. Oh yeah, so sorry about that. We've been run off by the cops twice, it's fairly difficult to fish there with the moss though @johncarlo_jimenez
    3. johncarlo_jimenez 0
Well, haha, I wasn't aware the park closes at 9, so I spent like 6-8:30 catching bait. So nothing, but we didn't really see anyone else pulling stuff up ...more either. @thehunter27
    4. Any luck? @johncarlo_jimenez
    5. johncarlo_jimenez 0
Perfect thanks, I'll be checking that spot on tonight
    6. Not silly, you can't use a cast net, just with worms and a small hook @johncarlo_jimenez
    7. johncarlo_jimenez 0
Last question, this may sound silly, but how are y'all catching the perch out there? Cast net or bait? I have a minnow trap
    8. Oh ok thanks man @johncarlo_jimenez
    9. johncarlo_jimenez 0
It will give you a little map on how to get there
    10. johncarlo_jimenez 0
I have actually been meaning to check the location out, but what I do is drive up 46, and fish the different bridge crossing near Camp Huaco Springs. If you google ...more Guadalupe River Access points
    11. @johncarlo_jimenez
    12. No problem. Where are you fishing at Guadalupe? By the rv place below the I-35 bridge?
    13. johncarlo_jimenez 0
Ok sweet! Thanks for the tips
    14. @johncarlo_jimenez
    15. Go to either the dam or a peninsula and use live Pearch or artificial
    16. johncarlo_jimenez 0
Really want to check this place out since it's local, and tips or locations on the lake? Bait? Thanks.
    17. Yes @johncarlo_jimenez
    18. johncarlo_jimenez 0
