    Caught in very shallow water by a drainage pipe in weeds flooded by recent rain. Texas-rigged weightless craw on 12lb mono.

      I love the 13 Fishing Omen rods. I have a 7 ft medium and a 6 1/2 ft med-heavy. Great rods for $99. Light, sensitive, we'll-balanced, and durable.

    Only caught one, but it was worth it. Dropped buzz bait next to some reeds and got an immediate reaction strike. This fat 20 incher is the largest one that I have ...more caught in here.

      Thanks. I really like the Diawa Tatula much better than my Revo S for tossing weightless worms/craws etc. I love both of my 13 Fishing Omen rods and find them great ...more for finesse or horsing out of cover

      @thefishwhisperer and @BearC02; I agree. I've fished here 3 or 4 times & all the other bass were 11 - 16 inch. They all are fat & healthy and thicker- ...more bodied than I tend to see in subdivision ponds.

    Details: Largemouth Bass with a Black Rocket Craw

    This was the first of 8 bass yesterday morning. 5 of the 8 were over 16 inches with the largest a fat 19 inches. The key seemed to be very slow movement and casting ...more into the deeper water. Just a reminder to everyone, watch out for water moccasins, I almost stepped on one. Ran into @thedevman1 in the evening and he out fished me.

    Details: Largemouth Bass with a chartreuse Bomber "A" squarebill ;Revo S on 7'1" 13 Omen Black

    Fat pre-spawn female hit on my second cast. Steady moderate speed retrieve into open water and she hit about 10 feet from the bank. 62 degrees.
