1. Can any one give me info on areas to wade fish Louisiana after flatties? Im in Houston going to take day trip out there, probably in cameron LA

  2. Details: Gulf Flounder

Its pretty cool! I found these fish grips during low tide at SWP. Kinda buried in the sand! I freakin love em. Highly recommended

      U wanna fish sometime?
    2. ralphyc06 0

    5. texasfishingkid kid 0
      ok thanks for your help
    6. MarkCooke 0
Early in the AM has been best for me @fishallday
    7. texasfishingkid kid 0
What are some good time to go
    8. MarkCooke 0
      @ralphyc06 goodluck!
    9. MarkCooke 0
Feels, but once you get it you'll know. Best to use braid because of the subtleness of the hit, you'll feel it better. Any other questions? @fishallday
    10. texasfishingkid kid 0
      ok thanks
    11. MarkCooke 0
Slow, you may feel like you got snagged but drop the rod tip, or open you bail and see if it takes line. Count from 10 slowly and set the hook HARD! Your first time ...more out its tough to tell hoe the bite
    12. MarkCooke 0
@fishallday they are very subtle for the most part. The best bait is either live finger mullet or gulp alive swimmin mullet in tandem rigged jig heads. Toss it out ...more and bounce it of the bottom reall
    13. texasfishingkid kid 0
Can you give me some tips on catching flounder
    14. ralphyc06 0
      Hopefully the weather is right
    15. ralphyc06 0

    16. Rafael Flores 0
Yea at seawolf it's good with any moving tide.today it's moving out all morning.so it's good but idk bout the weather this heat is going to make fish ...more hide @ralphyc06
    17. ralphyc06 0
@RafaelF hey bro, at what tide would seawolf be best to wade? I'm thinking about trying my luck out there I know how some places varies on the tide
    18. MarkCooke 0
@RafaelF thanks for the heads up! But sadly i got stuff to do. Good luck bro
    19. Rafael Flores 0
      @ReelFishnTx

  3. SWP was really slow today, i worked up and down the banks for 3 hours to finally land this guy. i was ecstatic to say the least! I was throwing artificials today ...more but they were super picky, the guys having the most success were using finger mullet. Much of what was caught were juveniles or barely legal. Mines 17" The tide was super low and the water temps were mild, not cold enough i think...

Gulf Flounder with a Every color of gulp, only got hit on white. Tandem rigged

    4. MarkCooke 0
@PerTex lol thats awesome, watching the wildlife out on the water is allot of fun. They are the 70ish dollar breathable stocking foot magellens
    5. PerTex 0
saw a seagull trying to swallow a juvenile once... couldn't make it past the neck and it was trying to figure out how to get it down. what waders are you using?
    6. MarkCooke 0
Oh! So i saw a porpoise bust a flounder maybe 20 feet away from me! Flounder got hucked out of the air, it was sooooo cool. I was hoping that would push the flatties ...more towards me....

    9. MarkCooke 0
@TexasAngler89 i read just now that its for dough baits, it helps to hold it on. My grandpa must have replaced the treble hook with that one.
