  2. Details: Golden Rainbow Trout

A little fingerling caught out of the rapids. Tough little guy!

Can't wait to start fly fishing and catch these types of fish!
  4. Details: Brown Trout with a 18 size something green haha

These guys were easy to spot out from the bolder I was fishing from, hiding behind two distinguished rocks and coming out every now and then to check out something ...more to eat, landed them pretty easy! Definitely a fun day

  5. It was a little froggy out this morning.. 🌁

  6. Details: Bluegill Sunfish

Haha got this dummy in the head, looks like he's screaming. Just a post from a couple days ago. Thought everyone would enjoy this!

It's funny to see all the foul hooked ones if you want to see a funny foul hooked bluegill use a bigger bass popper and when they hit set the hook it usually ...more gets them in the side lol

  7. Practicing safe fishing, first day with barbless hooks. Not as bad as I thought! Actually easier to take the hook out. Be good to the fishing and the fishing will ...more be good to you.

They stay on the hook easier than I thought and they are 10x easier to dehook haha @flybob
    2. dillon juarez 0
Pretty sure the fish do too

  9. Details: Smallmouth Buffalo with a Chicken liver

My first Buffalo ever! Wasn't prepared for how slimy it was.. Had an inch thick layer of slime on both of my arms up to my elbows. Absolutely disgusting..

Dang, my drive is about 30-45 min but I get my limit almost every time. It's so worth it.
    2. jsav1543 0
@Mason_Cizek trout are awesome, although this time of year I have to drive about an hour to get to any trout, kinda sucks, but worth the drive
    3. Mason Cizek 0
And having trout in the freezer will help out a little. Plus they are delicious and make a great meal!
    4. Mason Cizek 0
Agree with take what you need. I only keep trout, (and bluegill and shad for bait). Like to keep my freezer pretty full with about 30 trout at a time. Never know ...more if you'll run into hard times...
    5. jsav1543 0
Big enough to eat em! @Mason_Cizek
    6. jsav1543 0
Yeah I don't like to use fish I catch as bait, I'm a firm believer in catch and release, take only what you need. I'll catch creek chubs and bluegill ...more and use them though. Very good bait for anything
    7. Mason Cizek 0
Ahh I see. Buffalo are a great catfish bait, so I didn't know. Nice catch bud!
    8. jsav1543 0
@Mason_Cizek the majority of the fish I catch are released. I only keep walleye or trout if they are a decent size. But I rarely even do that
    9. Mason Cizek 0
      Release?

  10. Details: Walleye with a Rapala red craw crankbait

Caught this walleye on a stop go retrieve, felt like I hit a snag at fish then the fight started. Nice 22" when I landed him. Had a feeling he wS gonna hurt ...more me by how viceroys he was, trying to snap at my hand. He ended up slicing my finger open with the back of his gills before I released him. Should've ate him.. 7:30am with sunny skies and 76°

    1. dillon juarez 0
      Nice walleye and pic
