  @txfisherman yea normally between 30 and 50 but sometimes they'll be in as deep as 60 or as shallow as 10 @dcoats23 they run the beachfront

zig zagging from 25-55 feet of water until you find the bait, find the Spanish mackerel and sharks then put out the artificials, man I need to quit my job. Once ...more u hook a tarpon you are addicted. Nothing better 25lb main line with 100 lb leader connected by a double not,new set up on the whaler. I'm ready. They are out there tarpon fishing is hours of sheer boredom broken by seconds of sheer panic
