    Details: Channel Catfish with a good ol' worm.

    When cat fishing off Rockland road today with my bestfriend, her dad, and her brother. I caught my first cat too! Not to mention I was the only one to catch something ...more lol After I caught this guy every hit I got was a fluke. I would tug the line when the bobber went down but wouldnt hook into anything…ticked me off but overall it was a good day :)

      A lot of times the Catfish will get the bait in it's mouth but will only play around with it. Use a Circle hook so that when the fish begins to swim away the ...more hook will set itself.

      Do you happen to know what type of hook you were using? I usually use a J hook but a Circle hook is the best option.

    @eastonsutley took me flyfishing today. Caught two pumpkinseeds and this little guy. Rained earlier today but then turned nice and sunny.

    Details: Largemouth Bass with a powerbait swim shad

    Took my brother fishing this afternoon, he complained more than fished. I caught 2, him 0. 90° weather, the water was nice and calm and the flies were worse ...more than ever. The bass were only hitting near the banks. Changing up the speed of the shad while reeling seemed to catch their attention.

They were only biting around the banks. 90° weather, water was nice ...more and calm and the flies were worse than ever. Changing up the speed while you were reeling seemed to help alot with making the shad look more realistic.

      It tightens and same thing forward. It seems you can only get the drag working when it is in the middle

      I got that setup and hate it! About 8 inches snapped off the top of the rod when I set the hook on a 2lb bass and the reels drag doesn't work right. It doesn't ...more loosen when I move the star drag back

      if you catch a birdsnest what you do is freespool then pull line until you can't reel some in and freespool and pull lime again until you can't
