    Details: Smallmouth Bass with a Neko rig and dropshot

    Had first tourney of season yesterday. I'd have to say this was the least prepared I've been for a tourney. Been a busy week friend passed away in car accident ...more last Sunday and then my partner had a emergency the night before the tourney, so I fished solo. Caught 5 for 10.77lbs. Nothing to write home about but I got us some points to get us back to the t.o.c. This season. Sight fishing beds.

    Caught her on a dropshot and when I set the hook she took off like I snagged a carp toward the back of the boat with the current then tried to dig into a thick tree ...more was able to pull her away to open water. I use my dobyns 703 spinning rod and shimano stradic ci4+. I like the 703 more than the 702 at the delta so I can put more pressure on the fish when needed. 8lb suffix mono. She went 5-3/4lbs...

    6-3/4lb caught sight fishing with a dropshot and a roboworm on 8lb suffix mono. This one put up a good fight took me in the weeds and under the dock. Eventually ...more wore her down and cleared all the weeds to pull her out.

    Details: Largemouth Bass with a 3/8 vibrating jig

    Caught this guy a couple weeks ago on a gp 3/8 vibrating jig in about 4fow. Ended up 21st out of 79 boats for our t.o.c. Tough bite for us at least. Some ppl sacked ...more em which was expected at the best lake on earth(imo)!! Lol time to start a new season tight lines fellas

    Details: Largemouth Bass with a 6" basstrix on a 3/4 oz revenge swimbait head

    Haven't been out too much lately. Bites been tough at the local lakes but I did get this good one a week and a half ago. Caught this big girl at Calero reservoir ...more in 30fow. Second cast of the morning and she nearly ripped the rod out of my hand. I let it hit bottom and just slow rolled it near the bottom. Might go back this weekend of time permits!! She weighed 8lbs. 14oz

      @MusicCityBass the Marshall sits in the back of the boat and makes sure the angler is following the rules. Things like making sure the angler is not snagging fish.

    Caught this big MAMA(7.4lbs) at the river 2 sea tournament a couple weeks ago with @Mr_polebender Biggest fish I've caught in a tournament... Hopefully I can ...more catch a bigger one next time. It was the 9th biggest fish for the two day tourney. Big fish for tourney was 8.87 CABO!!!!!
