Caught her on a dropshot and when I set the hook she took off like I snagged a carp toward the back of the boat with the current then tried to dig into a thick tree was able to pull her away to open water. I use my dobyns 703 spinning rod and shimano stradic ci4+. I like the 703 more than the 702 at the delta so I can put more pressure on the fish when needed. 8lb suffix mono. She went 5-3/4lbs...
