Details: Largemouth Bass with a xps poper
went fishing with @spookmasterHQ yesterday evening and had a pretty nice day. This fish was caught on a small poper, an ultralight rod and 4lb test mono. It put ...more up a good fight and had a few jumps. Fishing over a boulder flat in 3fow with small bluegill and mullet being chased and working the lure right through them when this guy inhaled it. 82° partly cloudy 8-10mph S wind and 10" visibility.

SURF REPORT: Went to galveston to check the surf and the water is still not ideal for fishing. Muddy brown water for the first 50 to 60 yards. Then green water for ...more the next 20, followed by the blue water. A few more days of a good south wind should blow the green water back in. Surf was rought today and we just caught a few whitings from the beach, not worth wading in that 1 to 2ft swells!

Went to the surf to try and catch an evening bite, but the wind picked up so surf was a no go. Went to some overhead lights in a neighbor hood and stuck some trout ...more there. Went out with @SALTwaterKING this morning to hit that hot surf bite. Started off slow with a top water but around 7:40 the bite turned on and they got hungry. It ...more was literally one cast= one fish during this span. Waded out to waist deep water and casted out with a pop pop sit retrieve that was the dominant presentation. Ended up catching over 60 between us, with some sand trout⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇

First crappie in years and not a bod one either! Fishing a area where the water was flowing and and bait was being trapped. The bass and crappie where there blowing ...more up small minnows. Working the grub at a constant speed worked the best, got about 7-8 bass and 3 crappie. 89°, no wind, water clarity about 6-8in visibility and stained. Tight Lines Crew!!!
