    Getting the fish revived and taking my time releasing. Kept letting her go and then grabbing her tail again or cradling its belly with my arm. Fun seeing them in ...more shallow water and feeling their power.

    More pics of the flat cat. Picked up my first two of the season tonight. First flat was about 8lbs and this one 25+. Big cats make me smile.

    Caught my new personal best flathead catfish just before 10pm. 35" and estimated between 25-30lbs. Hooked right in the corner of the mouth and safely released ...more after some photos.

    Landed plenty of cats and sheephead last night. Lost count honestly. Broke off a few pigs and landed a few as well. This was a good one.

    This was the biggest cat of the evening. 30" around 12lbs. Getting into the cats good now. Fishing old spawn or cut bait on the bottom.
