1. Caught about 7 again today. Lost twice that many. All on spinnerbaits again. Trying to find some patterns. They were definitely caught tighter on cover than last ...more weekend, likely because of the SE wind. Also seemed to do better on the windy banks where the saplingings were hardwoods and not dying pines.

  3. Only second pike for sure I've ever caught at highpoint. Caught about a dozen pickerel today. Twice that many followed it or tagged it at the boat. Not one bass ...more insane.

  4. Went Thursday 4/14 on only nice day in the forecast foreseeably. Water temp was 44-45 degrees. closer to 47 at east end. Didn't go down to the west end. Lost ...more a smaller bass and caught a big pickerel on the jerkbait middle of the day. Had a couple load ups and tail bite offs on swimbaits. Not seeing any air temps to help warm the water up for a while. Will hit it again in April I hope.
