      Throw it in shallow water, so it hits off the bottom, kicking up dirt and making noise. It will look like a craw trying to escape. After it hits off a rock, stop, ...more bass tend to hit during pause.

      @JustFish @tatumcrook appreciate the input gentlemen

      This is the lure i start and end with every time i go out for smallies....it doesnt really resemble a crawdead when its actually swimming...but it usually works ...more well. i vary my retrieve with it
    4. tatumcrook 0
      Casting and retrieving by logs and weed mats usually work good where I fish. And if the bass are feeding on the top of the water u can cast and give some twitches ...more on the top of the water
    5. yakfisherman412 0
      Fingers crossed @jurssica

      Thats a very good creek lure. Toss it reel just fast enough for the current to give it action. Should tear them up

      Of spotted and smallmouth bass.

      I have caught largemouth, smallmouth, spotted, and rockbass all with red eyes in a local creek. I believe it has to do with the clarity of the water. Coosa bass ...more (red eye bass) look almost like a mix
    6. MusicCityBass 0
      ...have travelled from other parts of the creek. It's just something that gets into the gene pool and gets passed along

      ...mutation while others say it has to do with water clarity. I'm not really sure but the good thing is that it tells me what parts of the creek have resident ...more fish and what parts have fish that...

      Yeah smallmouth and largemouth can have redeyes. I've noticed that in a creek I fish, there are stretches where all the bass will have redeyes and some stretches ...more where none will. Some say it's a...
    9. TennesseeTroutboy 0
      Redeye bass or "coosa" bass are native to northern GA, southeastern TN, and western AL. Rock bass are also called redeyes but they look completely different ...more than smallmouth.

      @amBASSador12 oh ok. Thx
    11. Bluegilled pike 0
      Redeye and smallmouth are a different species but smallmouth can have red eyes.
