Looks dark colored to me thought lighter colors were the shark camo
    2. freshwaterfanatic 0
That's not black, it's coral camo, use your eyes

Oh i bet its fun floating around looking like a seal, can i suggest u ahould get a different color wet suit giving off the im food vibe
    4. dunnamtn 0
yeah I've never been free diving before, nor do I have any of the gear
    5. freshwaterfanatic 0
It is so fun, it's like a hunt. But it's physically tiring. I'm sore as heck today, plus diving down in a wetsuit is a struggle, especially going 10-20ft ...more down to spear a fish

I've been wanting to spear fish for a while now. may be going down to Galveston sometime soon to try it out.. how

  2. Details: Calico Bass

I was told recently that fishing off the jetty with this Shimano Waxwing lure is good for Calico, sand, and other types of bass in the Dana Point Harbor. Wanna know ...more if anyone with experience with this lure has any suggestions or recommendations on where specifically to fish with this, if I should let is sink or use it on the surface, best spots, etc. Please comment!!

      Thanks guys, helps a lot!!
    2. Those work around kelp and shallow structure usually I fish them up top for bass on kelp lines in the summer and spring. In the harbor I've had luck with 3" ...more big hammers and 3/8oz war baits leadheads.

Mexico waters but they work great every where!

I've trolled them for stripers, thought they were ok. A little overrated.
    5. freshwaterfanatic 0
      Awesome, how far south?
    6. sparkdula 0
I've fished that lure a lot down south, a little bigger one and got marlin to bass on them. I'd fish the top water for bass and berrys and then let it sink ...more for halibut , sand bass. They work good

If you're new you should go to a local tackle shop and buy whatever live bait and rig they suggest
