Went on a trip to the boundary waters of Minnesota (2000 lakes and 1000 islands) and caught some decent fish. We canoed several miles and hiked from lake to lake ...more catching pike, smallmouth, and largemouth camping along the way. Caught my PB smallmouth and added some new species to the growing list.

Got the opportunity to fish Gary Yamamoto's ranch thanks to some really good friends who invited me. Caught a lot of fish and got to spend some time with the ...more man himself. Didn't catch the true giant we were after but we'll hopefully be back for more in the future.

Had the opportunity to fish a few lakes and ponds on my friends deer lease in South Texas. I was casting over a spawning flat in about three feet of water. I wasn't ...more sight fishing but I assume she came off a bed. Between six of us, we caught 167 in about 8 hours. The majority of our fish were in the 3 pound range. Wasn't expecting it to be so loaded! This one weighed 4 lbs 3oz.

Pretty nice fish on LBJ. She helped me a lot in this tournament. Caught her casting up onto a submerged grass bed on a point and dragging the fluke off the edge ...more and letting it fall to the bottom and then dead sticking it back to the boat. She hit it on the fall. Finished second in this tournament.
