    Details: American Shad with a Night crawler

    Some people call them skipjack others call them shad,whatever this is it put up a good fight,didn't catch much today but had a good time catching this guy.

      Shad and skipjack are completely different species. What you have there is a skipjack

      They are completely different from the shad we have down here though I've seen some monster gizzard shad reach that size. They make for a fun fight with their ...more acrobatics and Catfish love em

    Caught this guy in about 15 ft of water on a small beetle spin, I was retrieving slowly and caught several but this one was the biggest I had a pic of.
