my biggest sturgeon yet. weather is getting worse but the fish get better. @1lastkast helping land it.

    1. tristan russell 0
thANKS @solorider4o8 we're nailing em pretty consistently & they're getting bigger. we've lost a few that are quite a bit bigger than this but are ...more geared up to handle them now. 6 footer is our goal.
    2. tristan russell 0
@collinroman we use 30lb mono or braid. 50 lb mono leader. gamakatsu circle hooks & either squid smelt shad or herring. squid & shad been the best lately.
    3. collinroman 0
What do you use to catch those ?
    4. solorider4o8 0
      Nice your on those firsure
    5. carterh78 0
It's my dream to catch one of those
    6. TennesseeTroutboy 0
Huh I didn't think they did, that's pretty interesting about tricking them into eating the squid
    7. tristan russell 0
not at all. they just eat any dead fish or mollusk on the bottom. I think it just tricks them into think its dead clams. either way its the go to bait these days.
    8. TennesseeTroutboy 0
Nice is squid part of there diet
