That's a black seabass they are common off the SoCal coast illegal to keep now because of overfishing there aren't as many this big now but 100#ers r common.

@ColleenKrupa cool fish I see a couple over 100 lbs every year caught off Dana point to bad they got so over fished its illegal to target them now.
