    if you haven't gotten to try a big hand poured worm for summertime bass. i think you should. i have used uptons but neither bass chow or rader. as for the uptons ...more it does stand up in the water and makes for a great large shakey head. i have had the most success with them by throwing them with a light weight or weightless. their size alone is very castable with a larger hook texaa rigged.

    jigs are on fire this week! caught this one deadsticking the jig with light twitches after pitching it in front of a beavers damn. soak time was about 45 seconds ...more before he nailed it.

    another one from today. caught him swimming the jig while raising the rod tip twice. pausing while retrieving than raising again. while moderately retrieving.

    first crappie I have caught on a bass jig. also my biggest crappie. pitched the jig to standing timber in about 2 fow and was slowly working it back. started to ...more reel it back to shore and felt a tap so i paused and flicked my rod twice as I was slowly retrieving and he hammered it. that also set the pace for me to start swimming the jig for the rest of the day and within 45 mins i caught 5 bass.

    Just showing off my bluegill jig. tied in 7 different colors. tied on a 1/4 ounce boss sparkie head and used skirts unlimited skirt tabs in a mix of dalmation, living ...more image and solid colors. topped it off with a big bite baits yomama cut in half to make it compact.
