It was a surprise catch for me and weighed in at 1.75. I have no knowledge of these fish and can't find facts on how big they get.

      Nice catch! The Sacramento pikeminnow is a true California native. They were the primary warm water predator before Largemouths and stripers were introduced.

      They can exceed 1m and 30lbs. Common name used to be squawfish in my neck of the woods. Search on that name and you may have better luck finding info.

  6. First ever frog fish and a hog one at that! Missed fish previous cast and after I re casted to the same spot as soon as the frog hit she slammed it and knew right ...more away it was a big girl. 6.2lbs

    While walking to our next spot I like to toss the senko underneath this tree usually nothing is there but today on the first cast there I just let the senko sink ...more two feet from bank and watched my line get tight set hook and got this 3.12 beauty. Only fish of the day to many people taking bass out of these ponds it's sad.

    Got in a few cast line got loose on my reel and made another cast causing the line to twist off and cause a knot. I reeled In the line to where the knot was and ...more that left the senko a few feet off the drop off while o was untangling my line the line got tight and starting tugging. I set the hook with my hands and fought this 3lber with my hands and was able to land this beauty with just my hands!!
