    Walking around the pond to see the hot spots when right in front of me I saw a HUGE splash, tossed the Z Hog right on top of it and within a second he was running. ...more 1.14 on the scale, magnificent colors. 82 degrees, hardly any wind.

      As far as tips... Find deep water dropoffs and any shaded areas... They want cool water so that's where they'll be. Otherwise just try and get out early ...more or go at night

  6. Details: Largemouth Bass with a 1/4 OZ Mann's Elite Baby 1- crankbait in Baby Bass

    Decided to try the Mann's 1- today, even though I've never caught anything on it. It killed!! 2 bass in 2 casts, neither bigger than 1.5, which was this ...more one. Steady retrieve, slow, rod tip up. Overcast outside 84 degrees, wind blowing about 10 mph, and the water was pretty clear today. First fish in a while. Bottom plants are starting to grow like mad, can't fish deep much anymore.
