No problem man, you made my day when you shared it with us. He looks like, "My Dad may try to convince you he actually caught this Bad Boy, but we know differently, ...more don't we?"

Thank you both @Ben_Sanford and @fishON423 They both fish and hunt a whole lot and absolutely love the outdoors.

Great picture! Future bass champion in the making. Bible says train a child in the way he shall go and he will not depart from it... God bless, tight lines

Outside my own grand kids, got to be one of the best pictures I've ever seen. Look at that expression!

Hopefully they're on beds next weekend.

We use the baby flukes. They seem to like smaller baits. We had a hard time finding fish that weren't pairing off to spawn again. They won't eat crapp when ...more they first pair off. @flogrown_outdoors

  9. Details: Fat Snook with a doa baiteunner swimbait.

29" snook and little blacktip. Just in time for snook season. Can't wait to eat some snook.

    1. dbrowning 0
We have hybrid striper, white crosses that are delicious to eat. @CalvinFease they call them sunshine bass.
    2. Calvin Fease 0
There's nothing real good to eat in north Texas. Really just an abundance of white bass. You can get a few crappie in the winter though.
    3. dbrowning 0
I hardly ever keep fish to eat, but do keep a few slot snook a year, a few littler peacocks, usually the ugly ones with no spots, and some less desirable gamefish ...more like snapper and trout and offshore.
    4. dbrowning 0
Walleye taste. Crisp and clean, with large flakes. @CalvinFease my two favorite fish to eat are peacock bass and snook.
    5. dbrowning 0
Firm, white fish, with a very mild flavor and a hint of a sweet taste at the end of the bite. No gamey taste at all. The closest texture I can think of is like whipers, ...more hybred striper. And walleye
    6. Calvin Fease 0
      Are they like crappie? Salmon?
    7. dbrowning 0
I've always loved the taste. @CalvinFease

Nice fish! I've always loved snook coloration.
