1. Details: Largemouth Bass

One of the smaller catches of our day - my sister and I took our tiny johnboat out into a cove-like area of the lake where the water was still and cast out under ...more the overhanging trees and bushes, as well cast out right at the drop off. We pulled out plenty of bass all day, there was a sharp breeze on most of the lake except for these cove-like, enclosed areas.

a haiku about bass: the bass flopped on deck / it squirmed when I picked it up / then I unhooked it

  2. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Storm 3" WildEye Swim Shad in Fire Tiger

First and largest catch of the day. Casted the line underneath an overhanging tree and after just about 5 seconds of reeling the bass was hooked.

      Nice bass!
  3. Details: Nurse Shark with a live bait + pieces of fish

went out on a charter today for redfish and tarpon, but we caught everything except them: 2 shovel head sharks, 1 Atlantic sharp nose shark, 2 string rays, 1 dusky ...more shark, a sea turtle (don't ask how), and a nurse shark (pictures above).

^One could only hope. But yes, we did reel in some kind of sea turtle. The hook was somehow in its side, and we had to get it up to the boat to take it out of him/her.

A sea turtle? Did you snag a treasure chest as well?

First (ever) trout in Lake Ontario on a one day fishing trip! Put up a nasty fight, but I got him (or her).

Nice job! I hope the Lake Ontario waters were calmer than what the Lake Erie waters are. What port are you guys fishing out from?
  6. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Small shiner

  7. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Shiner

•not my fish• but this fish was too big for me not to post and give cred to the 75 year old man who caught it. That man was pulling all the fish.

  8. Details: Largemouth Bass with a 7 inch PowerWorm in Mocassin color, Mister Twister Keeper Hook, and a 1/8oz bullet weight

My 4 & a 1/2 pounder from a few weeks ago. Caught this girl throwing the worm under an overhang with plenty of cover nearby. Rigged weedless. Credits to my sister ...more @gkendus for making me use this app again!
