1. Details: Largemouth Bass

    Caught this guy on my last cast of the evening. I used a drop shot rig and hooked the Senko whacky style. The rod used is a 6'3" G.Loomis Bronzeback spinning ...more rod paired with a Pflueger Supreme XT spinning reel spooled with 10lb Berkley Nano. Fished in 8-10ft of water The was about 3-5ft out from some reeds.

    Caught this slab fishing the Little Maumelle River, which is a tributary leading to the Arkansas River.

    Poppin' the grub on the bottom and thought I got hung up on something. Gave a tug on my 7' Abu Garcia Veritas equipped with a Lew's BB1 Speed Spool ...more lined with 15lb Seaguar Invizx Fluorocarbon and he took off running!

  4. Details: White Bass

    Caught this fatty on a beautiful sunny day below Murray Hydroelectric Station in Little Rock, AR. The rod I used is a 9' CarbonLite spinning rod with a Pflueger ...more Patriarch spinning reel spooled with 6lb Berkley Nano line.

      @Southern_Fisherman13: she sure did feel like one as I was landing her. However, she's definitely a sand/white bass as they have a defined, unbroken lateral ...more line beginning at the top of the operculum and runs the length of its body ending at the tail. White bass also then to have one to two unbroken lateral lines above and below the very distinctive I mentioned earlier. Wipers also have the same distinctive lateral line but it's much darker and the majority of it's corresponding lateral lines are broken, segmented, and/or very uneven. Stripers are much longer than the others with bold, straight, and unbroken lateral lines.
