    this was caught at Peter's creek in new Jersey. its connected to newton lake. this is the biggest fish of the year for me so far, I threw my frog all the way ...more across the water to the other side of the lily pads and this smashed it. after the fight was done all I heard was a wooh! from another guy fishing a little further down from me. I absolutely love catching these fish, and the best part is eating them :) and just in case people don't know these fish are highly invasive and you're allowed to take them out without any restrictions.

    a good sized snakehead I caught last Sunday, put up a nice fight and tasted pretty good. just caught another snakehead today and it was much bigger. :):)

    Went fishing to a lake that I know have a lot of crappie and perch in it, so I used crappie jig quite a lot. was throwing the crappie jig on a 6'6 lite rod with ...more 8 pound mono. I felt something bite, set the hook, and started screaming holy crap when I noticed my drag start to fly. I turned the drag up as much as I could and then the catfish started dragging my kayak around and slam me into a wall.

    Went fishing for a little after the gym, saw some lillies moving so set the frog down right there and a monster snakehead swallows it. 5 pounds.

    Had a very nice chunk at a new lake, went to Stewart Lake yesterday morning. Left the house at 4:30 and got back at 11:30. Was a good trip, caught about 5 total ...more for the day this one being the biggest. 4.2 pounds 20 inches.

Around 6 I would say I went to another lake that I've been looking at that is supposed to have snakeheads and what do you know I finally get one. Gave a pretty decent fight for its size.
