if you want to catch big fish use a 5 inch or bigger swim bait fished around the edge of grass beds in 20 feet of water. there are numerous bass in the lake but ...more to win you need to catch 3 lbs or larger and big swim baits in shad patterns , I like hard multiple jointed baits 6 inch or larger that resemble skipjack or big shad that feed in schools on the large schools of threadfin shad that move close to the grass beds. bigger bass always will be in the deeper water and smaller bass can be found anywhere there is grass and water is at least 5 feet deep, and will bite almost anything you throw to them.

Hi Christian, I just wanted to shared a tip (and maybe you're already aware), but instead of posting your question so that only your followers see it (8 of them), ...more try posting this same question directly to the Weiss Lake waterway page instead. That way, most of the 392 members currently following activity there will get alerted of your post, and you'll probably have a better shot at getting the help you're looking for. Here's a direct link to that page: http://www.fishidy.com/map/us/alabama/weiss-lake. Good luck!
