if you want to catch big fish use a 5 inch or bigger swim bait fished around the edge of grass beds in 20 feet of water. there are numerous bass in the lake but ...more to win you need to catch 3 lbs or larger and big swim baits in shad patterns , I like hard multiple jointed baits 6 inch or larger that resemble skipjack or big shad that feed in schools on the large schools of threadfin shad that move close to the grass beds. bigger bass always will be in the deeper water and smaller bass can be found anywhere there is grass and water is at least 5 feet deep, and will bite almost anything you throw to them.

Good catch- I fished there Tuesday and caught 10 bass, none this big,on a square bill.Pattern was steep shady pockets with downed trees going into water.All fish ...more were about 3 ft.

try at the west end grass beds lots of bass tim Horton did a show there a few years ago fishing the beds with a jig lots of big bass in the fall swim bait or frog ...more also is a sure thing oct 15 2015
