Hello Mark. We just returned from our trip to G’ville and we had a blast. We caught fish all over the lake. And some big fish as well. Largest was a 6# by a friend ...more of mine. Try the MJ Rig at the north entrance of Goose pond, start as you enter the grass line and we used No. 328 Senko worms. I also used Banana trick worms as well as white trick worms and did well with that in the same area.

  6. Help me out. I am with the BFL and I have a few tournaments down there. I will be near the dam this month and around goose pond month after next.

  7. Details: good spot rocks current and bridge cover

this area holds a lot of fish the narrow pass tends to bundle a lot of fish up causing a huge fending friendzy

    1. Al Moses 0
thanks for the tip. we are headed back to Gville in a couple weeks.
    2. Mark Clifton 0

they should Al Moses...I've been using search baits such as lipless crankbaits and jerkbaits and they been going crazy feeding good after that spawn...you will ...more catch a lot of small ones but trust me the big ones ain't far from them. ..follow me on here and I will try to post as much as I can and keep you updated...I fish a lot of different lakes if you have questions just ask...

  8. Details: Largemouth Bass with a zoom worm

Texas rig worm black or brown depending on water color...drag bottom slowly

    1. Markeith McNeily 0
Thanks alot for the tips, I will certainly heed I will pick up some at Academy or Walmart next take run.
    2. Mark Clifton 0
take you fluke and place it as a trailer on a jig matching the same color will trigger more bites, get you deeper, bounce off cover, and look more versatile making ...more the lure look like a variety of different things to a fish mind...
    3. Mark Clifton 0
yes this technique work near there also...if the bass are coming towards your lure and then turning back either you need more action or a lure with their main source ...more of food color...keep an eye on the water and check for small fry or fishes...and base your lure off that...for example if there is a lot of bluegill in the area which is a plus but if all the bluegill are huge thats bad...you tracking? look for bugs, herein, shad, or crawfish...but dragging a worm is universal technique its just getting a angler to slow down and fish this technique is hard if they fish fast all the time
    4. Markeith McNeily 0
Does this technique work off points, near Cargill Feed Plant? I catch nice 3+ lbs plus on. Zoom flukes but I see a lot of big bass come up and turn back is it I ...more am not deep enough?
