I was able to get out and fish a local lake. After jigging with a Gulp pearl minnow and catching a few trout I had a big hit. When the float would not come back ...more up I started to get excited. When the line started spinning off the reel I got really excited. Then I saw it a big fat 24 inch rainbow. As I got it to the shore I remembered what happened last year when another monster broke off. No sooner did I think this and wham the fish broke off but was on its side. I immediately jumped face first on the muddy ground and in the water and pulled the fish to the shore with my hands. I mean I had to get my jig back right?
