My fiance has recently started bass fishing with me this year. She had caught a few bass but she was still learning the sport and working on improving her ability ...more to learn many different artificial lures. A few weeks ago her and I went to Sanborn Lake near Stillwater, Oklahoma to fish topwater frogs over the thick weedbeds. The largest bass we had caught in this lake before was around 2.5 lbs, and the largest bass I personally have ever caught in 10 years of tournament and recreational fishing was 6.5 lbs. Late in the evening she had a blowup and landed this 7.5 lb hog on her medium light spinning combo!! She was so excited and needless to say she is hooked for life!!
