1. Details: 2 lb. 4 oz. 16 in. LMB with a bk bz bt

  2. The lake is full of grass right now and it's really hard to fish with almost anything. This big girl got in the grass and I thought I might lose her. I was able ...more to win the battle but soon released her. Not a very good pic but she was 20 1/4" and about 5 lb. Not big for most lakes but a whopper for this one.

  5. My buddy and I were here on the 16th and caught several bass. The biggest was 19 1/4" 3lb 1oz (which seemed a little light for that size.) He also caught a ...more 16 3/4" spot which is a nice size for spotted bass in this lake. My biggest of the day was 16 1/2. Fun day but a little on the warm side.

About

I'm retired and live in Southcentral Kansas. Mostly fish small community and what Kansas calls State fishing lakes. These range in size from ...more about 50 to about 150 acres. Most are fairly shallow with a few as deep as 40 feet. There are some nice size LMB in most of these fisheries. There are also Walleye, hybrid bass of several different descriptions, and lots of spotted or Kentucky bass.
