Keith, Robert Jourden here, so you are from Nolin Lake. My mother used to own A lot on Nolin River but I don't realy know much about the place. I live close ...more to kentucky lake and know A little about this lake, mainly becouse I have lived and fished here all my life.
Keith, I Am not a great crappie fisherman, but that being said, most of the ledges in the mouth of the Big Sandy river and on up the east side of Big Sandy channel, ...more are good places to find fish, most of the year. When the fish start to spawn shallow cover almost anywhere will possibly hold fish. Also West Sandy branch of the lake has A ton of stake beds in every bay and the flats are good places to spider rig. This may help but it doe's take searching and trying defferent baits, and defferent depths. Goog luck! -- Robert Jourden
