Fishing with my friend Jay, & was tough due to a cool east wind. Lake was like glass just before going in for the day, so we stopped on what looked like some ...more current on the middle of the lake. Caught 4 big smallmouth in about 10 minutes, estimating the weight to be around 18-19 lbs. Heavy winds blew in and put a quick end to the blitz. game over - we decided it was better to live to fish another day!
This one was 23" 6 1/2 - 7 lbs. (as big around as it was long)
