Fishing with my friend Jay, & was tough due to a cool east wind. Lake was like glass just before going in for the day, so we stopped on what looked like some current on the middle of the lake. Caught 4 big smallmouth in about 10 minutes, estimating the weight to be around 18-19 lbs. Heavy winds blew in and put a quick end to the blitz. game over - we decided it was better to live to fish another day!
This one was 23" 6 1/2 - 7 lbs. (as big around as it was long)
