They haven't been hitting topwater but I hear people talking about catching fish on buzzbaits. Fish jigs and crankbaits on the rocks. Lizards, worms, and shakyheads ...more on the beds. And jerkbaits on
    4. Aaron alix 0
and what about top water to early?
    5. Aaron alix 0
what should i use jigs, soft plastic, cranks,
    6. Aaron alix 0
i cant go north i rented the boat out of elm hill marina
    7. TennesseeTroutboy 0
But I would fish around rocks in deep water for crappie and smallmouth. Largemouth will be shallow and around grass
    8. TennesseeTroutboy 0
I would take the trip north to Old Hickory Lake, much better fishing. The bass are in all stages of the spawn, crappie under docks, and striped bass are in the main ...more river.

Spotted bass will have a large spot on the part where the actual body and the tail meet. Also the top jawline doesn't extend passed the eye @drew_s_9
