    Choked it! Landed this big girl on 6 lb. mono on a medium light Abu Garcia Veritas spinning rod and a Quantum Nitro spinning reel. Thank goodness for a good drag ...more system other wise I probably would have lost this one, how exciting! My father in law lipped it for me and I snapped this blurry pic because my hands were shaking so bad after fighting this thing for about a good minute or two.

    Details: Largemouth Bass with a Yellow scum frog

    Tough day on the pond fishing a fluke, saw some topwater vegetation and put on a scum frog. There were 2 4x4 post partially submerged from and old swing, pitched ...more the frog right on one of the post, popped it once and it was on! Fought this fish for what felt like two minutes as I only had 6 lb. mono and a medium light spinning rod, talk about exciting!
