    My first Brown Trout caught along the Lefty Kreh trail in northern Baltimore County. S/he is about 9 inches long, full of fight. Wish I had waders to get to more ...more areas, but at least we got something despite the water being pretty low. It swam vigorously away when released.

    Details: Largemouth Bass with a Can't remember, a trick worm or a plastic minnow probably.

    This is one of several I caught. Many were small largies. This was the biggest I landed. Two others were bigger, but came off in close, one when I had it out of ...more the water and was reaching for it's lip. There was another catch that felt really big, it broke off my 8lb flouro after a tug of war. Could have been a big bass, catfish or koi, who knows. Lost a ton of tackle today.

      I use a pearl KVD swimming caffeine shad. Cut about 1/4" off the head and feed it on so it buts up against the bottom of the spinner head and the hook comes ...more out of the middle of the bait.

      Try adding a white paddle tail trailer to your spinner. Adds some awesome action and has brought in some nice Bass for me!

    Details: Smallmouth Bass with a Trout magnet crankbait - rainbow pattern

    What a thrill to catch this one. The water was crystal clear and on my second "one last cast" cast, I retrieved and s/he bolted out of its hiding place ...more about 15 yards away from the lure and smashed it hard. It's the biggest smallmouth I've caught so far. I had trouble getting the hooks out, but when I put it back in the water to breathe, it spit them out on its own, everybody won!

    Nice fist-sized, thick bluegill caught on the fly at Friends Pond. Not sure why I'm having trouble focusing lately, I was tapping on the fish to focus like before, ...more but still getting blurry shots.

    Very aggressive strike and got all 3 hooks as a reward, feisty fighter, hooked me twice after I pulled him/her out.
