This spring lake has a maximum depth of 16 feet with a mean depth of 7 feet. The bottom of the lake is 90% muck. To access the lake, there is one public boat landing and three parks and one beach. The water clarity in this lake is very clear.

    Yesterday a guy hooked up on a 30+ inch pike that hit a tungston jig tipped with a waxworm. It was at least a 10 minute fight on two pound test. To bad he couldn't ...more turn it at the hole before the line broke. The nose was on one side of the 8 inch hole and the gill plate was at the other.

    On the other hand I nailed 200+ small bluegills, several 8+, 10 inch smallmouth and a enough perch for a fishfry. Tipups were useless.
