Lannon quarry does not allow boats. It’s way to small for that. Plus it does not have musky. Just saying. Only grew up going to the quarry even before it was a public ...more place. Rumor has it. That they had been working the quarry one day and they went home. Came back the next day for work and all their equipment was under water. There’s construction equipment at the bottom of the quarry including a full sized locomotive with train cars that would hall the stone out. Pretty crazy if you think about it.

  8. 10-12 years ago you'd see pond bosses swimmin up on the rocks(Brown Trout/Largemouth)like koi, you could almost reach in and grab a 12-14 incher, nowadays this ...more place seems fished out. We went 3 times this week using nightcrawlers/lures and only managed a largemouth(maybe 10 in/1-2 lbs) and a load of bluegill/sunfish. All catch and release but I hear over the years the DNR doesn't pay attention and people take tons home.

Been here like 5 times this year, same result every time. Tried the early bird at 5:30 am even once and other days came later in the afternoon like past 4pm for ...more early evening try, but to no avail other than very small largemouth(<2lb) a cpl times. One on a whopper plopper early AM the other on a Senko in the mid to late afternoon opposite side of the lake. DNR needs to give this place some lovin'!
  9. My biggest catch yet

17 in. Largemouth Bass with a night crawler

  10. 12 in. Largemouth Bass with a night crawler
