    Over cast skies with intermittent rain.. Lake recently flooded and was up 5-10 feet.. Tried deep structure that had been holding fish with minor success.. Started ...more beating the bank, and scored 20 fish in an hour.. All released. 🐷

    Light breeze, 65, Intermittent Storms rolling through.. Extreme lightning and thunder mixed in with breaks with sun.. Made for a perfect picture. Bait got covered ...more in weeds, burning it back to the boat, and this PIG jumped out of the water after it boat side.. PB for the year, nearly 24", Released.

    Details: Channel Catfish with a Bluegill Chunk, 7/0 Circle, Tip-Up

    Had an epic day on the ice on Sunday.. Iced 5 cats in an hour from 4-14lbs.. Suspended the baits a foot off the bottom, on tip-ups, and Swedish Pimples. Right at ...more dusk was the time to be there, could not keep the baits in the water! Best sight in the world is when a flag goes up, and the line is getting ripped out as fast as the Tip-up will allow! Going out again today. Tight lines fellow skouters!

    My PB out of the city lake for the year at 22.5", 7-3. She was nice and healthy, clearly has been feeling up for winter. I have been catching a lot of fish ...more on Squarebills and lipless cranks. In the shallows and off the rocks. This is the only bite I caught from deep water. Came off a tree in 10-12'. Was considerably larger than the fish that have moved shallow. MH Varitas, Revo S40, 30lb Power Pro

    A cool shot of a 5+ I caught slowly working a chigger craw through deep structure. Hooked a big fish in the same spot a day before, but ended up breaking 30lb Power ...more Pro. Clipped off a decent amount of "faded" line, and went back out. This time she didn't get so lucky. Retrieved both hooks and let her swim to fight another day. MH Varitas, Revo S40, freshly clipped 30lb Power Pro.
