    Thought it was a rainbow when I hooked it. Tough fishing land 1 out of 6 hits. Had a monster bite at lure five times didn’t hook him. Looked like a huge catfish ...more following lure it was so dark, wide, and long.

    Trout season only open water. Felt like 10 degrees out. Caught 4 in an hour .

    25 degrees when we launched. Fishing partner caught a smallmouth bass on his first cast, we didn’t catch another one for well over an hour. Sun and temps went up ...more bass got active. We got 16 three big ones no small ones under 2 pounds .

    Tougher fishing at first today. Caught some slabs on 2” jigs. 49 white, black crappie and bluegills in a little over 4 hours. 15 mph winds .

    2 hours caught 5 White Crappie, 19 Black Crappie, 24 bluegill, 3 Sunfish, and 1 Largemouth Bass. 25 mph wind gusts again.
