Recently shared catches and fishing spots

  1. Details: Largemouth Bass with a stupid tube rig

Not butting in or anything just recently came upon this picture and thought I would share. This is mainly what I use for rigging tubes because it is weedless and ...more glides through timber with ease

    1. huntingandfishing 0
Oh. We'll you can do just about anything with a tube. Texas rig, Carolina rig, etc..@Hunting_Pro243
    2. PA_Hunter243 0
Yeah I know but I dident know of the other ways
    3. huntingandfishing 0
Huh? That's just one way to rig a tube? @Hunting_Pro243
    4. PA_Hunter243 0
I mainly use the one on the bottom
    5. huntingandfishing 0
Ah I got it now @MulletHead
    6. huntingandfishing 0
@MulletHead is there anyway to search a lake?
    7. zane zane 0
That's why I make sure my tubes are made of thicker material man, don't tear as easily. Check out PoorBoyBaits. Made right here in Indiana. Green Pumpkin ...more tube! Best tubes I've used! @huntingandfishing
    8. huntingandfishing 0
@latenitecycler you should post a picture of that rig and tag me in it
    9. Richard Shadler 0
@huntingandfishing For the center bal. white/silver pattern. Fleeing bait fish. I don't go any bigger then 3" on both. The gold/brown fat as I can go. White/silver ...more I'll use skinnys!
    10. Richard Shadler 0
@huntingandfishing More so a jig with the "vcm". I use a brown/gold pattern. Stop & go action. Try to mimic a Goby or perch feeding off bottom.
    11. huntingandfishing 0
What does it stand up off the bottom like a jig head or shakey head? @latenitecycler
    12. Richard Shadler 0
@huntingandfishing I had to get some made from my buddy. Balance is everything!
    13. Richard Shadler 0
@huntingandfishing I do use a similar hook to the Trokar "VCM" when bouncing bottom in deep water. But the center bal works great in open water! Crappie ...more & Bass love the action! Hard to find though!
    14. huntingandfishing 0
It really tears the tubes up rigging it stupid though. @Zhennig
    15. huntingandfishing 0
@Zhennig yeah I know of a few other people that use it. It's better for in the grass but otherwise I'll use a Trokar tube hook with just a lead weight.
    16. huntingandfishing 0
      @latenitecycler ^^^
    17. huntingandfishing 0
Yeah give it a try! I'll definitely give what you said a try! Having the weight inside gives the tube a really hard swoop and glide when you stitch it.
    18. zane zane 0
@huntingandfishing been using the stupid rig for as long as I can remember bro! It's caught me big bass and won me a lot of tournaments! Glad to other anglers ...more using it! (:
    19. Richard Shadler 0
Nice blert! Never thought of rigging like so! I mostly use center bal, standard rig. Gives the tube a nice side to side action. Mimics a minnow panicking! @huntingandfishing ...more Give it a go once!

  2. Details: Northern Pike

@johnadman this is not your picture so quit claiming it as yours. I hate seeing little kids like you claiming pictures as there own to try and impress us. So quit ...more doing it!

    1. huntingandfishing 0
Alright I did have it deleted but Chuck wanted me to repost it to let you know. Ill shoot you a PM when I come upon another. I can't stand people posted others ...more pictures also. Gets on my last nerves @MulletHead
    2. Gabe Mitchell 0
Thanks, he's been dealt with. Report violators of our "post your own pics" rule to me or any other staffer. I have zero tolerance for it
    3. Chuck LaBruna 0
..impress people, not making things up. And even so, it's dumb to even worry about impressing anyone. I'm old-school...like me for me, if not oh well. 😉
    4. Chuck LaBruna 0
@FishForFood Haha, yeah that did my brain in for a while today hahaha. But it sure is the truth. Why go all out of your way to BS people just to impress them? Doing ...more something you're proud of will..
    5. corey 0
      I understand bro....if it ain't yours don't claim it @huntingandfishing
    6. huntingandfishing 0
It's deep because we are tired of people claiming pictures that aren't there's!!! @FishForFood
    7. corey 0
      @wyldechylde77 that's deep
    8. Chuck LaBruna 0
...impress and be proud for YOURSELF. Show your catches because you are proud, not because you wanna impress anybody. Take that to the bank as a life lesson as well.
    9. Chuck LaBruna 0
... to ridicule once it's discovered, and after that it doesn't matter what you catch because no one will believe you. And a big thing, don't worry about ...more impressing people, no one is worth all that..
    10. Chuck LaBruna 0
If you wanna impress anybody, show us YOUR catches. Even a bluegill can be impressive by the amount of people who cannot catch them and the story of its catch. Faking ...more a pic as your own only leads...

    18. huntingandfishing 0
Yeah we have about 8-9 inches but that's a lot for Indiana! We normally don't get any ice but this year we got a lot! 2 winters ago we could have fished ...more all winter long. We had about 2 inches of snow
    19. Alec Morrison 0
Still about a foot left to go hahaha. And me to dude

    22. huntingandfishing 0
Sweet I'll let you know!! Sad thing is, it will be at least a month before the ice melts away here! 😪 @highschoolchamp
    23. Alec Morrison 0
Well sounds good dude we will definetly keep in touch and let me know how everything goes and if you catch any good ones on it!! Tight lines
    24. huntingandfishing 0
Yeah I have seen where you take the sleeve off and slide them in it. They should make a way to attach and detach the bill! I have 4 hours left so hopefully I will ...more get it @highschoolchamp
    25. Alec Morrison 0
Yeah there will be a little slot where the weight will go
    26. huntingandfishing 0
If I get it I'll try it out before I break the bill off!
    27. huntingandfishing 0

    30. huntingandfishing 0
Dang your lucky to know him!! I think I'm just going to order it from ebay brand new in box. Did you fill in where the bill was?
    31. Alec Morrison 0
Guy that I fish with all the time in Cali and he introduced me to them and showed me how to modify the silent killer
    32. Alec Morrison 0
I know butch brown, and know the owner of optimum baits and all of the deps bait and ima baits go through him in order to get into the u.s. He's the distributor ...more for them. And I'm friends with another
    33. huntingandfishing 0
Oh. I have seen on one when they took a scalpel and somehow cut it off. I would hate to ruin a $70 bait like that @highschoolchamp
    34. huntingandfishing 0
How did you find out how to do it?
    35. Alec Morrison 0
      On
    36. Alec Morrison 0
You break it off with plyers and take the hooks off the slide the plastic coat off then take a Dremel tool to the lip and grind it flush. Then you gotta put the ...more plastic back on and then the hooks back
    37. huntingandfishing 0
Post a picture of yours so I can see what it looks like when you take it out. Is it easy to put back in?
    38. Alec Morrison 0
      It takes a while
    39. Alec Morrison 0
Yeah it really isn't that hard
    40. huntingandfishing 0
@highschoolchamp did you modify your 175 to a slide swimmer 175? I was thinking about it but didn't know how hard it would be to take the lip off?
    41. huntingandfishing 0
Yeah the colors sweet! It should work great in Indiana lakes!! @highschoolchamp
    42. Alec Morrison 0
That looks like an awesome color dude!!! And I have wakasagi
    43. huntingandfishing 0
What color of 175 is yours? I am buying a 175 in the real flash gill. @highschoolchamp

    46. huntingandfishing 0

    47. Alec Morrison 0
Of people making replicas and fake ones that will cost like 20 $ on there or cheaper. But great bait seriously let me know how it works for you I don't have ...more a 115 yet
    48. Alec Morrison 0
I use the 175 size which you can only get straight from japan!! It's a great bait works amazing!!! And if your buying them online like on ebay and stuff make ...more sure it's the real thing Bc there are alot

Those are hard to find and that one came up for sale after I had ordered mine @PKfisherman
    53. huntingandfishing 0
It's only 3/4 ounce. It's pretty light but has some pretty sweet action. You don't need a super heavy rod to throw it. If I were you and had the money ...more I would get the 115 shudder tail flash carp.

Okay. There is one on ebay for 30$. What's the weight? @huntingandfishing
    55. huntingandfishing 0
They range from about $40 for the cheaper ones that are used and tops for rare ones about $60 to $70 @PKfisherman
