      @Lon85 you should try freshwater, usually pretty fun.

  5. Caught this strange fish today, does anyone know what it is? I need a real name not a nick name or something like that.

    1. NTENOPIR 0
      @seaturtles that's my guess
    2. Sean Wilms 0
      ok im out of guesses lol, maybe a some kinda hybrid...idk
    3. NTENOPIR 0
      @seaturtles and the mouth is way too big to be a redear
    4. NTENOPIR 0
      I doubt it, they're native to georgia. And this is a creek that has never been stocked so I don't know. @seaturtles
    5. Sean Wilms 0
      then its a red ear sunfish
    6. NTENOPIR 0
      It's not a green or a war mouth (a green sunfish and a war mouth are two different fish) @seaturtles
    7. Sean Wilms 0
      ok its probably a warmouth
    8. NTENOPIR 0
      @seaturtles it's not a blue spotted, I can't find what it is.
    9. Sean Wilms 0
      nice, means that ecosystem is very healthy
    10. NTENOPIR 0
      @seaturtles probably the blue spotted
    11. Sean Wilms 0
      hard to tell in the pic, if it had many light blue spots down its body its a rare blue spotted sunfish, otherwise its probably a warmouth sunfish

  8. Details: Bluegill Sunfish with a everything

    West mud creek where it runs trough the park. I fish here nearly every week.

    1. NTENOPIR 0
      @mattsimpson99 for sunfish and bass, just run small bright and flashy lures. Jigs grubs spin baits spoons and live bait. For catfish, stink bait or cut bait on the ...more bottom.
    2. Matthew Simpson 0
      Anything
    3. NTENOPIR 0
      @mattsimpson99 depends on what you want to catch.

  9. Details: Bluegill Sunfish with a home made spoon lure

    Biggest green sunfish in a while, haven't caught any like this since last year. Caught it in upper west mud creek.

    1. NTENOPIR 0
      @seaturtles are you wanting to catch green sunfish or longears?
    2. NTENOPIR 0
      @seaturtles live bait just off the bottom, inline spinners or small spoons and jigs. You should catch them!
    3. Sean Wilms 0
      sweet @NTENOPIR if there r any in my lake ill get em this year
    4. NTENOPIR 0
      @seaturtles a longear put simply just hits hard and runs, kinda like a redfish (red drum)
    5. Sean Wilms 0
      very true @NTENOPIR ive never caught a long ear but i catch bluegill, pumpkinseed, and warmouth sunfish all the time and they all take it differently with different ...more strategies
    6. NTENOPIR 0
      @seaturtles yeah, they fight pretty hard for their size. The longear sunfish really slam it and then take off. You can usually tell what you've got even before ...more you get it out of the water.
    7. Sean Wilms 0
      not bad...warmouth fight pretty good for their size dont they?

    Big green sunfish out of west mud creek

    1. Sean Wilms 0
      called warmouth here also
    2. NTENOPIR 0
      @wiseguy @pocfishin @Hooksetter97 this is why it just says sunfish, instead of the actual species name
    3. robbie wise 0
      War mouth is what I have called them
    4. NTENOPIR 0
      @pocfishin thanks for the understanding
    5. pocfishin 0
      Warmouth are also called google eye.
    6. NTENOPIR 0
      "Goggle eye bass" is one of the MANY nick names for green sunfish.
