Caught this strange fish today, does anyone know what it is? I need a real name not a nick name or something like that.

  I doubt it, they're native to georgia. And this is a creek that has never been stocked so I don't know. @seaturtles

  It's not a green or a war mouth (a green sunfish and a war mouth are two different fish) @seaturtles

  hard to tell in the pic, if it had many light blue spots down its body its a rare blue spotted sunfish, otherwise its probably a warmouth sunfish
