    Just picked up a 7' heavy action st.croix avid inshore rod paired up with a Abu Garcia 6600 c4 for when I go fishing on my buddies boat. Can't wait to get ...more out fishing and see how this rod feels with a nice chunk on it. Anyone have this rod and what do you thing?

      @Matthew_L @rjstaab929 I have about 10 st.croix rods and I love them all too. I can't wait to get out and fight a nice striper or blue fish on this thing

      Love the st croix, I've got several plus an avid fly rod, awesome, and the best customer service (probably won't need it though)

      You're going to love it, you can't go wrong with the st croix ! I have a dozen of them from my tournament bass rods to surf casting all perform

    Put a hurting on the stripers today. This one is 18 pounds my buddy jesse got a 24 pounder, Ricky got a 30 pounder and we got a 14 pounder also.

    Details: Dogfish Shark with a Bunker

    About 2 ft sand shark. Caught him at the early incoming tide at about 10:45 pm. Didn't put up much of a fight. Took some drag at first and rose a little a few ...more times which I didn't expect but handled it like a pro. Felt good to finally catch something other than sea robins.

    Saw a jellyfish floating along the surface of the water while bunker snagging off a pier. I decided to snag it because people don't normally post pictures of ...more jellyfish caught on a hook.

    Loading up bait for the season. Snagged 12 bunker with the squad. Nothing was really biting but schools of them kept swimming in front of the pier.
